Train Wreck
(40% Indica / 60% Sativa)
20-23%thc
Origin
Trainwreck is a Sativa-dominant hybrid strain of cannabis with a unique taste reminiscent of vanilla & caramel. Like many Sativa hybrids Trainwreck provides a very intense cerebral high with effects that are mood enhancing and euphoric. This strain was supposedly the creation of two Californian brothers back in the late 1970s. It is a mix of three other strains Thai (Sativa), Mexican (Sativa) and Afghani (Indica). In its true form, Trainwreck is ninety percent Sativa and only ten percent Indica. As the story goes the two brothers had to pull their crop early because there was a nasty train wreck that happened near their grow site and they didn't want it discovered, thus the name.
Trainwreck can grow well both indoors and outdoors. Plants of this strain grow fairly tall but the Indica in them causes them to fill out well. Inside grown in hydro a single plant can yield up to 500 grams in a square meter. When grown in soil outside Trainwreck plants are ready for harvesting early October and can yield 700-900 grams.
Profiles
The aroma of Trainwreck can be of vanilla, spicy Kush, cedar wood and sour fruit while its taste has notes of citrus, diesel, noble woods and peppery spices. THC production is approximately 15-19% with very low O.1% CBD.
Effects
The effect hits like a train, is long-lasting and evolves into a narcotic body stone. Trainwreck is a mind-bending hybrid with potent sativa effects. Mexican and Thai sativas were bred with Afghani indicas to produce this Northern California staple. Trainwreck begins its speedy hurtle through the mind with a surge of euphoria, awakening creativity and happiness. Don’t be fooled by its sativa genetics though, couchlock is inevitable with this strain ( not typical of sativas), so plan accordingly.
Medicinal
Migraines, pain, and arthritis are mowed down by Trainwreck’s high THC content, and many patients also use it for relief of anxiety, ADD/ADHD, PTSD & epilepsy.
Grow Techniques:
Let Trainwreck grow large(because she will despite your best efforts). Put this plant in a big pot with healthy soil, prune it, top it, trellis it, and grow a Northern California giant. As always when growing big plants, expect big stretches and the need for loads of water and nutrients, and eventually staking to prevent branches from snapping.
Flowering Time: 7-8 weeks - Trichomes start to turn at 7.5wks & can turn fast. She finishes Quicker than most, 60-80% amber by 8.5wk
Yield: Average
Grow Difficulty: Easy
Nutrient load: This strain can handle a full nutrient load...and then some. A real nutrient hog that likes things on the acidic side of the "sweet spot" pH window. TrainWreck does best at 6.5-6.6 in soil / 6.2-6.3 in hydro.
Can handle a range of temperatures while still growing successfully, but ideally keep this strain between 68 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit.
Indoor/Outdoor: A great outdoor strain due to its early finish and vigorous growth. Equally impressive indoor though slightly lighter yields, as is true with most strains. There is no comparison to natural sunlight.
Feeding: Start with nutrient-rich soils and fill in the gaps by feeding Trainwreck with calcium, magnesium, and nitrogen. Top dress your soil with amendments such as bat guano and worm castings as Trainwreck begins to flower. Flush early as this plant can finish sooner than expected.
Acapulco Gold
(Sativa Landrace)
18-20%thc
General
Acapulco Gold comes from Acapulco, Mexico, but the exact genetics of the strain are unknown. Acapulco Gold is a Sativa-dominant hybrid known for the golden hue of its green and/or brownish buds. Resin production is off the chart with this phenotype
Profiles
As geographics go, this strain exhibits flavors native to Mexico. Plenty of citrus flavors in the range of orange and sweet grapefruit with undertones of warm caramel. It has a tendency to be a little harsh straight off the drying rack so be sure to let this strain cure for a while to increase those depth of flavors and create a smoother smoking experience.
Effects
This old strain is said to produce a powerful cerebral high that raises one's mood without producing overpowering feelings of happiness. Instead, the cerebral high mixes with a calming body high for a relaxing experience. Mild paranoia and anxiety have also been reported. Users may experience dry mouth and eyes as well as headaches from using the strain.
Sufferers of disorders such as General Anxiety Disorder or PTSD use this strain to find relief from stress and anxiety. Those dealing with depression use it to lift their mood. The body high can also relieve chronic aches and pains.
Growing
Traditionally, this strain was grown outdoors. Growing it indoors is still proving to be tricky for producers as there are no clear guidelines on how to do it. This makes the strain harder to find as more growers move their operations inside. When grown indoors, the strain flowers for 70-75 days. Outdoors, plants are ready for harvest by mid-October. There have been reports of yields up to 500 grams per square meter. Tests have shown this Acapulco Gold pheno is at 18-20% THC.
Man n Jack
(50% indica / 50% sativa)
24-26%thc
General
Also known as Mac Herer, this strain is one of the rarer and more unique strains out there, thanks to its relative difficulty to breed, as well as the strong head high that it provides.
MAC N Jack is an evenly balanced hybrid strain (50% indica/50% sativa) created through crossing the potent MAC1 X Jack Herer strains. This celebrity child packs a super heavy high with soothing effects that are definitely best-suited for experienced patients due to its high level of potency.
Comprised of thick, lace-green nugs brightened up by white crystals, it unearths a rich, pine smell as soon as you open the bag, inviting you to take on its particularly heady high.
Profiles
This bud has a classic sour citrusy flavor with a punch of woody pine upon exhale. The aroma takes after its Jack Herer parentage, with a punch of potent Pinene. MAC N Jack buds have fat and fluffy spade-shaped dusty green nugs with dark leaves, thick orange hairs and a coating of tiny milky amber crystal trichomes.
Effects
The high starts with a creeping effect, sneaking into your mind slowly before suddenly taking hold. Out of nowhere, you'll find your brain lifted into a heady unfocused state that's filled with vibrant artistic visions and happy bliss. A relaxing body high comes next, working its way slowly into your limbs and weighing them down, leaving you feeling calm and kicked back from head to toe, unable to move for hours on end.
Medicinal
In combination with its super high 25-30% average THC level, these potent effects give MAC N Jack an edge in treating experienced patients suffering from chronic stress or anxiety, PTSD, depression or mood swings, chronic pain and muscle spasms or cramps.
Growing
Insanely vigorous and can get out of control if not properly grown. Durban Poison stacks fairly well for such a fast growing plant. It is recommended to send her into flower earlier than a typical plant. She’ll fill in nicely durinf the first month of flower with strong vertical and lateral branching. Durban is a plant for intermediate or highly experienced grower. She does fantastic outdoors as well but…needs a the full season for max potential.
Pineapple Express
(60% sativa - 40% indica)
THC 23%
General
Pineapple Express is a sativa-dominant hybrid cannabis strain, celebrated for its vibrant genetics and widespread popularity. It was originally bred by G13 Labs through a cross of Trainwreck, a potent sativa-dominant hybrid known for its intense cerebral effects, and Hawaiian, a tropical sativa that contributes uplifting and fruity characteristics. Typically boasting a THC content ranging from 17% to 25%, with some batches reaching up to 26%, this strain leans approximately 60% sativa and 40% indica. Its rise to fame was boosted by the 2008 stoner comedy film Pineapple Express, though the strain itself predates the movie and has since become a staple in dispensaries across the United States, cherished for its balanced effects and distinctive flavor.
Profiles
The strain’s terpene profile is a key driver of its aromatic and flavor appeal, featuring a trio of dominant terpenes: myrcene, limonene, and caryophyllene. Myrcene lends an earthy, musky base with subtle herbal notes, while limonene infuses bright, citrusy accents reminiscent of pineapple and tropical fruit. Caryophyllene adds a spicy, peppery depth, rounding out the bouquet with woody undertones. This combination results in a scent that blends sweet pineapple, tangy citrus, and earthy pine, while the taste mirrors this complexity with a smooth, tropical sweetness accented by hints of spice and cedar, making it a standout sensory experience.
Effects
Pineapple Express delivers a dynamic high that reflects its hybrid nature, starting with an immediate, uplifting cerebral buzz. Users often report feelings of euphoria, heightened creativity, and increased focus, making it a go-to for social settings or artistic pursuits. As the high evolves, the indica influence emerges, bringing a gentle body relaxation that eases tension without plunging into full sedation. With effects that are long-lasting yet manageable, it’s best suited for morning, afternoon, or early evening use, though overconsumption can occasionally lead to mild anxiety or paranoia in sensitive individuals.
Medicinal
Medicinally, Pineapple Express is prized for its versatility in addressing both mental and physical ailments. Its mood-elevating properties make it a popular choice for combating stress, anxiety, and depression, while the energizing effects may help alleviate fatigue and boost motivation. The strain’s analgesic and anti-inflammatory potential, likely tied to caryophyllene, offers relief from chronic pain, headaches, and muscle soreness. Some users also find it beneficial for appetite stimulation or mild nausea, though its lower CBD content (typically under 1%) means it’s less suited for conditions requiring significant CBD-based therapy.
Growing
Growing Pineapple Express is rewarding for cultivators of varying experience levels, as it adapts well to both indoor and outdoor setups. Indoors, it flowers in 7 to 9 weeks, reaching heights of 3.5 to 6 feet depending on plant training, light intensity & grow techniques. She yields around 400-500g/m² with ample light (600+ watts) and techniques like supercropping or low-stress training (LST). Outdoors, it thrives in warm, sunny climates, producing up to 600g+ per plant by early - mid October. It performs well in both soil or hydroponics, with temperatures between 68-85°F and humidity dropping from 50% in the vegetative stage to 30-40% during flowering, ensuring dense, resinous buds resistant to pests and temperature swings.

(50% sativa - 50% indica)

Additionally, many users report feeling euphoric when consuming this strain which helps alleviate depression or anxiety symptoms in some cases.
Medicinal
The Apple Fritter strain is often used as a natural remedy for pain relief due to its powerful analgesic properties which are thought to be derived from its terpene profile including myrcene, limonene, caryophyllene, humulene, pinene and linalool among others. General
Cereal Milk is a popular hybrid cannabis strain renowned for its unique flavor and balanced effects, making it a favorite among both recreational and medicinal users. It was developed by the Cookies family, a well-known name in cannabis breeding, through a cross of two potent strains: Snowman, a sativa-dominant phenotype of Girl Scout Cookies, and Y-Life, a hybrid of Girl Scout Cookies and Cherry Pie. This genetic lineage contributes to its distinctive sweet and creamy profile, with THC levels typically ranging from 21% to 25%, though some batches can reach higher potency depending on cultivation. With a near-equal blend of sativa and indica traits, Cereal Milk offers a versatile experience that appeals to a wide range of cannabis enthusiasts.
Profiles
The strain’s flavor and aroma profiles are a standout feature, evoking the nostalgic taste of sugary cereal milk left in the bowl after breakfast. Its terpene profile is rich and complex, dominated by limonene, which lends citrusy and uplifting notes, caryophyllene, adding a spicy and peppery kick, and myrcene, contributing earthy and relaxing undertones. Additional terpenes like linalool and pinene may also be present, enhancing the strain with floral and pine-like hints. This combination results in a smooth, creamy smoke with a sweet, fruity finish, often accompanied by subtle vanilla and berry accents, making it a sensory delight for users.
Effects
When it comes to effects, Cereal Milk delivers a well-rounded high that mirrors its hybrid nature. It typically begins with an uplifting cerebral buzz, sparking creativity, focus, and a sense of euphoria that can enhance mood and sociability. As the high progresses, a gentle body relaxation sets in, soothing tension without leading to heavy sedation or couch-lock. This balance makes it suitable for use at various times of the day, offering a slow-building, long-lasting experience that’s potent yet manageable for most users, depending on tolerance.
Medicinal
Cereal Milk is praised for its potential to address a variety of conditions due to its balanced effects and terpene synergy. Users often report relief from chronic stress and anxiety, as the uplifting mental effects help ease racing thoughts while the physical relaxation calms the body. The strain’s anti-inflammatory properties, likely from caryophyllene, may assist with mild pain, such as headaches or muscle tension, and its mood-boosting qualities can be beneficial for those dealing with depression. Growing

It typically flowers in 8-10 weeks, with harvest readiness around early to mid-October in the Northern Hemisphere. The plants can grow tall—often exceeding 90 inches—so ample space and support (like stakes or trellising) are recommended to handle the dense, trichome-heavy buds. Regular feeding with a slightly higher nutrient load, especially nitrogen during vegetative growth and phosphorus during flowering, supports its vigorous growth. Pests like spider mites should be monitored, and pruning lower foliage improves airflow, ensuring a healthy yield of 1-2 ounces per square foot under optimal conditions. Patience and attention to detail are key to maximizing its potential outdoors.
